Who Makes the Magic
The Polish school of documentary originates from documentaries that were revolutionary. Cinema helped to support solidarity. Short films are known all over the world to this day.
We are currently working overtime to create the best short documentaries that continue the tradition of short film forms.

Our story
Parallax Film Sp. z o. o. was founded in January 2012. The company is headquartered in Warsaw. Today, Parallax Film is run by Julia Pełka and Paulina Skibińska. The main goal of Parallax Film Sp. z o. o. is a film production, a specially documentary film.
We are graduates of the most famous Film School in the world - Polish Film School in Lodz. Julia is a talented director and cinematographer. Paulina is a talented director and screenwriter. After many great films made at Film School, we decide to have joined forces. Parallax became a creative team with passion to make documentary short movies.
Our films have been screened at over 150 film festivals all over the world, including Oscar Qualifying: HotDocs Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, IDA Award, Clermont-Ferrand, Tampere FF, Nashville FF, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, Sheffield Doc/Fes, Bogo Shorts, Warsaw Film Festival.
Our films break the stereotypes of ordinary short films. They are not only documentaries, but also art. You can see them in the art world like Moma Art in New Yor and Op Docs NyTimes.
